The available map images for radio beacons are provided as a tool for radio amateurs to visually identify where the different beacons are geographically located, relative to the available maps.
As I use Hammap (developed by DJ6FM) to plot the positions it should be noted that all locations are based on Maidenhead locator.
For APRS and D-STAR the best map tool for real-time data would be to use www.aprs.fi.
